Shared Mailbox and SendAs

Hello, 

I have set up a shared Mailbox and want to be able to "SendAs" from that particular mailbox. If i set it up as a Security Group it works for outgoing mail but doesnt work for incoming email. I am new to all of this so any help would be appreciated.
