I gave up with Outlook 2011 because it wouldn’t sync calendars. Used to delete lots and more. So when Office 365 appeared and I talked to some people who got it working, I thought I should give it a go on myself before getting anyone else involved.
The Email works really well. No problems there.
Syncing Calendars is another matter. I have an Entourage calendar that I brought over. All the Categories are shown in both my Exchange server and On my computer account. I would have thought that the events on my computer would have been synced to the Exchange Server? Should they?
And with Calendars, I can create an event on my iPhone and it appears in Outlook on my Mac. I can create an event on my Mac and it appears on my iPhone and in the webversion of Calendars. However the category/calendar name is not take into the iPhone or the webcalendar. Is that right?
I remember that when I tried Outlook before, I had all the imported Entourage categories appearing as separate calendars which I really like. This does not happen in Office 365. I would have thought it should have from past experience.
My question is: I Office 365 broken? If so, how do I fix it? If this is what it is supposed to do, then why is it crippled?
Thanks in advance.
