Transferring email addresses

Hi all


I have been tasked with transferring emails addresses from a companys 1and1 account over to Office 365. We are alarmed at possibly losing emails during the transition period. Am I worrying about nothing or is this a problem. If it is what can I do to solve it?

Outlook 365

I had Office 2007 installed.  I uninstalled it and installed 32 bit Office 2013.  Outlook worked from desktop using Outlook 2007 but wll not work using Outlook 2013.  When trying to setup the profile keep getting name cannot be resolved.  Works using webclient.

Change address of SharePoint site

Hi,

I currently need to move(change address) the site collection currently at https://mydomain.sharepoint.com

so I can create a new site collection at this address. I need to keep the one that is currently there.

We are using hosted SharePoint online, is this possible?

Users email id getting changed

Hi

I have shared on-premise Directory to Office 365 with DirSync. Now what i am getting is, User's Email id are getting changed on Office 365 as @domain.onmicrosoft.com which was @domain.com.

When i checked on Onpremise Active Directory, in User's Proxy (user's attribute)..there is some value automatically came.....which is....

"x500:/o=ExchangeLabs/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=ec1e3384d2934427b721563588def141-user@domain.com " 

whenever i removed this entry from users attribute, after syncing the use's email getting revert back. i.e. user@domain.com

It is happening with multiple users as randomly.

Suggest some resolution.

Creation date of email account on Office 365

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if there are any way that I can have the record when the email account had been created in office 365.

I need to know this for my internal billing. I need to separate the domain to split the amounts that been consolidated for almost six months. The thing is, through those six months, we been adding an email account for that six months.

Any report when the email account was created will be appreciated. By reports or any scripts will do.

タスクバーのインジケーターアイコンは三角のびっくりマーク になっています。 一度同期を停止して、同期フォルダーを削除して、 再度office365のサイトから同期を開始しても暫くすると エラーになります。 同期フォルダー内には何もありませんので、同期開始する前の エラーかと思われます。

When looking at the company shared files in SharePoint I can see them but can not open them. Excel just shows that it is processing the file but after minutes does not open them. Excel works fine looking at files on my hard drive.

Hi,

One of our users are unable to send emails to some of the external customers. I tried sending a test email to those users and I can send it fine. They receive it successfully , but the affected user cant. below is the mail header in NDR which he is receiving :

Добрый день, я пытаюсь установить Dirsync, но при установке появляется ошибка указанная на картинке. При чем после установки я не могу удалить его.

Подскажите как решить данную проблему? Сервер виртуальный, на нем ничего не установлено.

Office 365 setup fails to recognise MX record

Setup of Office 365 requires a DNS record:
MX, Priority 0, iamtest.qut.edu.au, MX-Server: iamtest-qut-edu-au.mail.protection.outlook.com, TTL: 1Hour

I have that record in place, and it is propagated to the Internet according to every DNS propagation checker I have looked at. But, the Office365 setup still does not seem to recognise the record being present. The page says to wait 72 Hours -with a TTL of 1Hr, that doesnt make sense- but still, the other TXT records updated almost immediately once added to th external DNS servers.

Anyone else have issues with the automated checker for Office365 setup ? how did you manage to work it out to progress?

Active Directory User Extension Number

Dear Microsoft Support.

We have our own internal VoIP system in which our employees are using to communicate to each other, each VoIP station has an extension number assigned for each employee.

We would like to use Active Directory to add the extension number to our local Active Directory so it can appear on the directory searches and use DirSync so the extension attribute can appear on the Office 365 Outlook and Lync users business cards.

Is it possible do to this? and if yes, how?

Autodiscover certificate warning

When using autodiscover with iPads for instance the user gets a confusing certificate warning error. Our dns is setup as instructed by the dns settings on the domain page in office365, ie a cname pointer to autodiscover.outlook.com.

Is there a way to get rid of the warning without hosting the autodiscover file ourselves?

Добрый день, хотел уточнить несколько вопросов по установке DirSync:

- наличие SQL-сервера. Насколько это необходимо если в моем предприятии >200 учетных записей или SQL должен быть при любой конфигурации? (в моем случае ведь и Express хватит?)


- должен ли PowerShell в момент установки быть подключен к Office 365;

- если я использую сервер Windows 2008R2 Standart ru-ru не возникнет ли проблем?
