Outlook Web App CHECK MAIL FREQUENCY not fast enough for CONNECTED ACCOUNTS

Hi Guys,

 

The subject says it all ..

 

I have scoured these forums and the web for a way to get this sorted. No solution is available and when a similar question is replied to here most of the tech mods answer with "Please submit this problem".

 

Come on guys, ye are aware of this. Their is no visible CHECK MAIL or REFRESH button on the OFFICE 365 Outlook Web App. The only available REFRESH is under the GEAR Icon up top right - this does nothing.

 

We have two company POP email addresses added to "Connected Accounts". We need a check frequency of at least every 5 minutes, not every hour. Why isnt their a setting to change the Check mail frequency?

 

Before you mention stuff like "you have to be logged into your Outlook web app for it to check more frequently" - WE ARE, makes no difference, the frequency of up to 1 hour is useless to a company. We need a setting to change the check mail frequency ourselves otherwise this app is USELESS and unusable as far as we are concerned. Back to our old desktop Office for us and no extra monthly money for you guys.

 

Please address this issue - you guys will loose alot of customers over this if not, in my opinion.
