We were early adopters of Office 365, and began using it a couple of years ago. At that time the Midsize Business plans did not exist, so we opted for the E1. We're a business of about 100 users, and the Midsize Business plan would suit us perfectly.
We need to migrate to the Midsize Business Plan but there is no decent migration pathway. It is disappointing that Microsoft have not provided a facility to switch from E to Midsize besides exporting to PSTs, recreating all accounts, groups, domains etc. and then dragging and dropping emails from the backup PSTs.
Has anyone migrated from E1 or E3 to a Midsize plan?
Can we do an 'Exchange to Exchange' migration by setting up a Midsize account and doing an 'Exchange' migration from our E1 mailboxes to the Midsize mailboxes?
I feel this would be better (if possible) as it would migration email data (users don't have to drag/drop), email groups etc.
Is it possible?
