Dear all,
I was uploading some photos in a sharepoint document library. Microsoft upgrade decided to do a restart at the same time to install some upgrades. Once the computer restarted the Upload Center said it needed to restore the document cache. After about an hour this process was still going on so i decided to cancel the process. As a result all the files in my personal skydrive now showed a red cross instead of a green check mark. The only solution was clearing the document cache, which meant I had to resync the library again. My question is how it is possible that restoring a document cache takes that long, and what can I do to prevent this fuss in the future (if I have to repeat this process each time someone within my office makes the same mistake it is gonna cost me a lot of time)?
