Updated Lync - Login now fails

Ran Office update on Mac which also updated Lync to 14.0.5(130524)


After update Lync login fails with the following message:


"Lync was unable to sign in.  Please verify your logon credentials and try again.  If the problem continues, please contact your support team"


The credentials I'm using are the same as before the update and I validated they continue to work for the portal login successfully.


I tried using a bad user name (as advised in another thread).


I tried using automatic config (as opposed to the manual settings which were previously being used)


I tried changing my password, although I was unable to do so because when I login to the portal it kicks me directly into OWA and I can find any way to change/update my password manually.



Thanks for any suggestions.
