Moving from P1 to Home Premium or Business subscription

I’m on the original 365 P1 plan and expect to be upgraded to the new Office 365 sometime this year, I also have Office 2010 installed on my desktop. I’ve been looking at the various home and business plan options, and would appreciate any thoughts on what I currently see as the best way forward.

I use my P1 plan to give me Exchange based calendar and contacts, allowing me to access these on any PC and on my iPhone/iPad. My desktop Outlook is connected to the 365 account, and also accesses my various other email accounts. I don’t really use the 365 email, other than for Outlook appointments.

I was initially attracted to the Office 365 Small Business Premium, but  this is only for one machine, and doesn’t have the Skydrive and Skype advantages of Office 365 Home Premium. So my thinking is to buy a subscription to Office 365 Home Premium (giving me web apps, installation on home machines, mobile access, Skydrive, Skype minutes etc.), and then shift my current 365 P1 domain to a business Hosted email subscription to allow me to have Exchange type calendar and contacts and iPhone/iPad synchronisation.

I hope this makes sense. Any comments on whether or not it’s the best approach? Basically what I really want is Office 365 Home Premium, but with Hosted email.

Some things I’m still not sure of

- Will the version of Outlook from Home Premium on my desktop be able to synchronise with the calendar/contacts from the Hosted email subscription?

-Can I use the same email id as login for both 365 subscriptions and Skydrive?

-When I’m at a remote office which 365 subscription should I access to see my calendar/contacts?

-Which 365 account should I synchronise with my iPhone/iPad?

- Will I be able to keep my existing domain that I use with P1?
