Hi all, I know this question may be a repeat of something I have discussed with you all before, but I wanted to get one last opinion before moving forward.
I'm at the final stages of my cutover migration into office 365 and all of my email has been migrated. The plan is to turn on ACTIVE DIRECTORY SYNC and ADFS to connect into our existing adfs2.0 farm. I've set up adfs and ad sync in the past and I'm pretty good at that configuration.
Two questions...
1. If I have 51 users with cloud identities and email flowing to their mailboxes, and I turn on ACTIVE DIRECTORY SYNC with ADFS, will it soft match the addresses and let my users connect ?
2. Will there be anything that I need to do to their outlook clients?
Their UPNs match.
My plan was this...
cut over MX records
perform final sync of mailbox data (using third party tool)
enable ADFS with AD sync
cutover autodiscover records
check outlook connectivity
