Hi,
I recently installed Lync from my MOP onto my Win7 desktop. I have a combination of Office365 P1 and P1 Premium licenses.
I found, whilst having a play on Lync, that there's a keypad - it looks like the program is geared up to enable VoIP calls. I assumed that it would only be VoIP calls between you and other users on your account but then i found myself asking... well if it's there, surely you can use it to call anyone?
The problem was that it never worked - not a single number I tried to call could connect so...
Q. Why is there a keypad function on Lync if it doesn't work?
Will Microsoft offer this out as a function? It seems like it wouldn't take much to work if they've already built the interface... why not make it work?
Many Thanks
Rich
